Large Portfolio of Projects in Historically Rich Areas

EXMIN has pursued an aggressive strategy to grow a diversified project portfolio of high quality, district-scale exploration and development projects in historic mining districts, each with the potential to host world class deposits.

The Company focus is on the Sierra Madre Occidental Mineral Belt in Mexico, which has a long and rich history of mineral exploration.  Numerous high profile exploration, development and mining projects are currently active and include Mulatos (Alamos Gold), Dolores (Minefinders), Ocampo (Gammon Lake), Monterde (Kimber), Palmarejo (Palmarejo Gold) and El Sauzal (GoldCorp/Glamis).

EXMIN holds one of the largest project land portfolios of any junior in Mexico.  In all, the Company controls 21 projects covering nearly 600,000 hectares (1.5 million acres).

Joint Ventures with Major Producers

The Company has three ongoing exploration earn-in joint ventures, including projects with Industrias Penoles, the world’s largest silver producer, and Hochschild Mining, the world’s fourth largest silver producer.  In addition, the Company has joint ventures with Yale Resources and Canarc Resources, both aggressive Canadian junior exploration companies.

In conjunction with its Moris exploration joint venture with Hochschild, the Company has re-opened the formerly producing Santa Maria de Moris mine and has entered into a comprehensive strategic alliance with Hochschild, which has raised its equity stake in EXMIN to roughly 17% of shares outstanding.

Moris Mine Entered Production in 3Q2007

The “golden opportunity” at the Moris Mine should help EXMIN advance its business plan.  The Company began initial gold and silver production during 3Q2007.  The mine will generate significant positive cash flow that will help to finance exploration and development programs on EXMIN’s other projects, reducing the need to further dilute current shareholder equity. Hochschild is the project operator for the Santa Maria de Moris mine.

Continued Exploration and Portfolio Development

EXMIN is committed to generating new exploration targets on its existing claims through an ongoing program of reconnaissance, mapping, sampling, and drilling.  EXMIN continues to aggressively build its project portfolio, and recently announced the staking and acquisition of four additional district-scale land packages in historic mining districts:  Batopilas and Yoquivo, in Chihuahua State, Yecora, in Sonora State, and Horcón, in Jalisco State.  EXMIN continues to search for, stake, and acquire properties and projects of extraordinary merit.
