Kelsey L. Boltz
Position: Chairman of the Board, Director

With over 40 years of experience in the mining industry, Kelsey has participated in virtually all disciplines across mining, including exploration, development, production, management and financing.

In 1965, Kelsey discovered the Santo Tomas porphyry copper deposit in northern Sinaloa, Mexico. In 1967, he co-founded NASDAQ-listed Nuclear Dynamics, Inc, where he served as CEO and Chairman until 1980.  Later, Kelsey founded and served as CEO of Laminco Resources, which discovered the 1,000,000+ ounce gold deposit at San Antonio De La Huerta, Sonora, Mexico.

Kelsey Boltz obtained the Professional Degree of Geological Engineer from the Colorado School of Mines in 1953.

Karl J. Boltz
Position: President & CEO, Director

Karl has an extensive professional career in construction, land development and mining. Karl possesses practical experience in mining operations, management and financing.

Karl’s extensive experience in mining operations includes on-site management of Laminco Resources’ mining operations in Sonora, Mexico, as well as serving as Project Administrator for Minefinders in Mexico.  Specific to Mexico, Karl has a track record across all aspects of project management, including logistics and procurement, site planning and construction,  permitting and environmental compliance, governmental and public relations, right-of-way and land valuations.

Karl holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agribusiness from the College of Engineering at Arizona State University.  He is fluent in Spanish, with extensive experience conducting mining operations, mining business and government relations within Mexico.

Dr. Craig Gibson
Position: Executive Vice President, Exploration, Director

Craig possesses an industry-wide reputation for extensive field exploration experience and insights.  He has worked as a professional exploration and economic geologist for large and small companies in Latin America since 1984.

Craig holds extensive professional experience managing project operations from the startup through development stages. His track record includes work for such companies as Minera Nor Peru S.A. (ASARCO), Cyprus Minerals, Teck Resources, Kennecott Exploration, Echo Bay, Kalahari Resources, Hochschild and Minefinders, Ltd.

Immediately prior to co-founding EXMIN, Craig served as consulting Economic Geologist and on-site project manager for Minefinders’ Dolores Project.  Dolores is near EXMIN's Sierra Madre land position and possesses a similar geologic environment.  Craig’s responsibilities at Dolores included the planning and execution of drilling programs directed toward completing a bankable feasibility study and the preparation of geologic cross sections to aid in the construction of a geologic model of the epithermal vein system.

Craig holds a PhD in Economic Geology from Mackay School of Mines, University of Nevada.  He is fluent in Spanish, with extensive experience both living and working in Mexico and Peru.

Salvador Miranda
Position: Chief Financial Officer

Since 1996, Salvador has held senior roles in the administration of Canadian public companies, primarily in the mining sector.  He has served as director, officer, or consultant for several companies listed on the TSX Venture Exchange.

In addition, Salvador holds several external roles relevant to his role at EXMIN.  These include President of InterAmerica Consulting & Development, a company focused on developing business ventures between Canada and Mexico, and Chairman of the British Columbia chapter of the Canadian Council for the Americas, a non-profit institution aimed at the development of business opportunities and information exchange between British Columbia and the Americas.

Salvador holds a master's degree in Civil Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (1982).  Born in Mexico and residing in Canada for over 20 years, Salvador is fully fluent in English, Spanish, and French, with deep knowledge of the business culture of both Canada and Mexico.

Jeffrey Dawson
Position: Director

Jeff is the President of privately-held Jeffrey Dawson Insurance Agencies Limited and is currently a director of Galleria Opportunities Inc., Dawson Creek Capital Corp, and CNR Capital Corporation.

Donald Rankin
Position: Director

Don is a self-employed businessman who has serves as a director for a number of public mining companies. He currently serves as a director of Westchester Resources Inc. and Gowest Amalgamated Resources.
